Top tips for your Wedding Ceremony

I have provided the musical backdrop for countless wedding ceremonies as the Yorkshire Wedding Pianist. However each one is special and unique, and live music plays a vital part in creating a memorable shared experience that you and your guests will always remember. In this blog post I share a few words of advice for couples when it comes to the Wedding Ceremony.

Tip Number #1 - When walking down the aisle, take your time!

With all the excitement and nerves prior to the bridal entrance, it can be easy to rush down the aisle.  But just remember, this is your moment to savour, so take your time!  You will then be able to soak in the sight of your family and friends, and allow your videographer and photographer to capture the moment beautifully.  This advice is also for your bridesmaids too!

Tip Number #2 - Make your music personal

The ceremony is such a personal part of your wedding, and the music for this part of the day plays an integral role.  I have played such a wide range of songs for ceremonies, and the best ones are when they have a personal link to the couple.  Equally if you are struggling for ideas, I am able to draw on my wealth of experience to know what would work well and make suggestions accordingly.  There are so many options, it is the chance to be really creative if you would like to.

Tip Number #3 - Let the professionals do all the work and enjoy your day!

Weddings come with countless hours of preparation and organisation in the lead up to your big day.  As part of this process, you will have chosen suppliers that you trust to provide an excellent service.  On the day itself, leave it to them to ensure your day is as magical as you’d imagined it would be.  As a wedding supplier with years of experience in the industry, it is great to be part of weddings where like-minded suppliers work together create an unforgettable day for both of you and your guests.

I hope these 3 tips have been helpful. Please feel free to get in touch to find out more about how I can contribute to your special day!
